Refund Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and applicable legal rights relating to Trading Journal subscriptions are handled.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. Processing by Paddle
Trading Journal purchases and subscriptions are processed by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record.
As a result, payment-related requests, cancellation requests, statutory withdrawal rights and refunds may be processed directly by Paddle in accordance with Paddle's Refund Policy and applicable law.
2. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Your subscription may be managed using the management link included in Paddle transaction emails or through Paddle's customer portal.
3. Basic free trial
Where the Basic plan is purchased with the 7-day free trial displayed at checkout, no subscription charge will be taken during that trial period.
To avoid the first charge, you must cancel before the trial ends.
If the subscription is not cancelled, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription under the monthly or annual billing cycle selected at checkout.
4. Withdrawal and consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights available under applicable consumer protection law.
In certain jurisdictions, including the European Union and European Economic Area, consumers may have a statutory withdrawal right for a defined period.
The existence, duration and any exceptions to that right depend on applicable law and factors such as whether use of a digital service has already begun.
Paddle provides mechanisms for exercising refund or statutory withdrawal rights where applicable.
5. Refunds outside mandatory statutory rights
Outside circumstances where a refund is required by applicable law, transactions are subject to Paddle's Refund Policy and the conditions presented at the time of purchase.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically create an entitlement to a prorated refund for a billing period that has already been paid.
6. Technical problems
If a technical issue materially prevents access to the service, contact Trading Journal support so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve it.
Where applicable, situations where the product or service cannot be delivered may also qualify for remedies provided by Paddle or applicable law.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund relating to a transaction processed by Paddle, use the links provided in your receipt, confirmation email or Paddle's customer portal.
You may also contact Trading Journal support for help identifying the relevant subscription or transaction.
Do not send full payment card details, passwords or other sensitive credentials through support.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to plans, Paddle, the service or applicable law.
